Newman Grove Community Foundation

The Newman Grove Community Foundation, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, Inc. was organized on July 13, 2005.  The purposes are to receive, administer, and distribute funds for charitable or educational purposes primarily for the inhabitants of Nebraska, and of the community of Newman Grove.  A fund advisory committee has been named to manage the Newman Grove Community Foundation.

The Newman Grove Community Foundation Fund (NGCFF) provides funding for a variety of projects in and around the Newman Grove community. We encourage individuals as well as businesses to become members and join their friends and neighbors in our effort.

NGCFF is also building an endowment which will provide a permanent revenue stream for community improvement. A percentage of the endowment’s earnings can be used each year for community projects while the principal remains invested and continues to grow.

$5,000 to the City of Newman Grove for benches on the new walking trail

$1,250 to the post prom to enjoy entertainment for the evening

$4,000 to the NG/SE Sports boosters for our new sports coop to purchase new uniforms, equipment, etc.
